STANDARD ADDITIONAL CHARGES(INTERNATIONAL PARCEL DELIVERY)

DUTY AND TAX SURCHARGE

Surcharge will apply if duty, tax and other fees imposed by local customs. All duty, tax, and other fees will be charged to the shipper.

Fee: 3% of imposed amount, or minimum HKD20 per package  

UNDELIVERED HANDLING

-Re-delivery Optional surcharge will apply for local re-delivery to a new or original delivery address for undelivered package.

Fee: 70% of shipping fee and fuel surcharge  

-Return to origin Optional handling surcharge will apply for return of undelivered package to origin. All transportation costs and applicable fees incurred in the consolidated return shipping will be charged to the shipper.

Fee: HKD85 per package  

-Abandonment Optional surcharge will apply for abandoning of undelivered package at the destination.

Fee: HKD20 per package  

ADDRESS CORRECTION

Optional handling surcharge will apply if en-route address change is allowed.

Fee: HKD120 per package    

OVERVALUED PACKAGE

Declared value shall not exceed the limitation in accordance with ME/MG shipping guideline, or US$10,000 per package, whichever is lower. Handling surcharge will apply if package found to exceed the limitation.

Fee: HKD20 per package  

OVER SIZED PACKAGE

Declared value shall not exceed the limitation defined in ME/MG shipping guideline. Handling surcharge will apply if package found to exceed the limitation.

Fee: HKD20 per package  

PACKAGE WITH UNREADABLE LABEL

Package tendered to ME/MG shall have the proper shipping label before collection or drop off at our collection depot. Handling surcharge will apply if package cannot be processed due to label issues and re-labeling is required.

Fee: HKD20 per package  

PROHIBITED ITEM
Handling charge will apply if package tendered to ME/MG found not in compliance with applicable laws and regulations or ME/MG Standard Terms and Conditions, for example dangerous goods and hazardous materials. This fee is without prejudice and in addition to the shipper's responsibility for all other sums that ME/MG may incur and claims against ME/MG resulting from the contravention or non-compliance
